BASEBALL BARD

THE POETRY OF THE GAME

CAIN

June 30, 2017 by bardpoems

On his daily walk
No one looking
Lifts cane
Takes batter stance
Shifts weight
Back foot to front
Twists hips
Rotates wrists
Cane whips through air
He’s still got it
As he hobbles home
