A Baseball Home Run Precedence

Eyeballing the computer and watching a rookie hit.
A throwback from yesteryear.
Three opposite-field homers caught my fancy.
Not one, not two, but three opposite-field long taters.

How exhilarating is that.
The icing on the cake, four homers by a rookie,
baseball’s next golden superstar.
Fluid wrist action and super-quick instincts.

Guess what, that is four homers in a game for a rookie.
Never been done: ever.
A pennant contender in the American league in 2027.
So I say, what is the over and under for his home run totals next year.

Baseball’s next home run derby champion for his taking.
Alas, a Futuristic Hall of Famer in the making.
Maybe he will hit Five homers in a game.
Baseball has never witnessed that.
