I wonder what happened to Titles I-VIII
to make Title IX so necessary.
Did Title I run away from the challenge?
Did Title II refuse to play with the girls?
Did Title III and Title IV fall in love?
Did Title V decide that men are much more worthy?
Did Title VI get a sports injury?
Did Title VII get underfunded?
Did Title VIII declare that baseball was only for the guys?
I wonder, though, is Title IX strong enough?
We still get the worst equipment.
We still get the worst fields.
We still get no one to come to our games.
Title IX, help us out!
Please make sure that the playing field is level,
so there won’t be a need for any more titles.
