I’LL HIT THE BALL

– an octogram

Can’t wait to play this T-Ball game
I’ll hit the ball
So happy when coach calls my name
I’ll show them all
I’ll swing my brand new baseball bat
and wear my safety hitting hat
The ball will fly and I’ll stand tall
I’ll hit the ball

My mom will cheer, that’s why she came
She’s proud to call
So pleased to see I’ve got great aim
and cleared the wall
Remembering to touch each base
I’ll hurry hard just like a race
Then slide to home, a messy fall
I’ll hit the ball
